Sauvons les Serres d'Auteuil

Why in the world would you destroy one of the most beautiful and culturally and historically significant spaces in order to simply ADD more tennis courts to the hundreds, or thousands that already exist between the Racing, Jean Bouin, Roland Garros and all the courts which stretch from the Porte de St. Cloud to the Porte Maillot???

Has anyone ever thought of using the center of the Champs de Courses - (Auteuil, Longchamp) for events that would attract so many people? I can't imagine that French designers and engineers wouldn't be able to create some sort of innovation like that. Let's use what we have and stop this aberration of destruction!
