Parking in general is a huge problem in the Plateau, especially for those who commute a long way (and where public transport is not easy to come by) and have to use their cars.

The area is full of vibrant stores, restaurants, but also families and friends that we visit. Increasing the difficulty in accessing public parking makes it a highly inconvenient location to travel to. I have personally looked for parking for over a hour on several occasions when visiting friends or going to a restaurant.

I run a company in the Plateau and have always considered it an ideal location for a technology company like ours, but I will admit this will make me seriously consider relocating our offices.

Another nail in the St.Laurent coffin.
