THE DOORS ARE THREATENING TO SUE THE LEZARD KING BAR!!!

The Lezard King, bar located at number 11, rue des Tournelles in the 4th arrondissement of Paris has been the place to go for every bona fide Doors fan since September 2010.

Its owner, Christophe Maillet, created a magic place filled with emotion, dedicated to Jim Morrison and The Doors.

Since last may, Christophe has been threatened by the group's lawyers.

He is being told to change the name of his bar, to remove all photographs, and to find another name for the cocktails.

According to the band's lawyers, The Doors image can't be associated to a drinking place...

If you wish to back Christophe and his lovely bar he created for all the fans, and as a tribute to the outstanding human being Jim Morrison was, your signature will be welcome.

And if The Doors persist in threatening the Lezard King, we invite you to boycott the Manzarek/Krieger concert that will be held at the Bataclan in Paris on July the 3rd, as well as the other tour dates.

LES DOORS MENACENT LE BAR LEZARD KING DE PROCES !!!

 

Le Lezard King, bar situé au 11 rue des Tournelles dans le 4e arrondissement de Paris, se veut depuis septembre 2010 le lieu incontournable pour tous les fans des Doors.

Christophe Maillet, propriétaire des lieux, a crée un endroit magique et chargé d’émotion en l’honneur de Jim Morrison et des Doors.

Depuis mai dernier, Christophe est menacé de poursuites judiciaires par les avocats du groupe.

Il est en effet contraint de changer le nom de son établissement, de retirer toutes les photos et de renommer les cocktails.

Selon les avocats du groupe, l’image des Doors ne doit pas être associée à un débit de boisson......

Si vous souhaitez soutenir Christophe et ce bar magnifique qu’il a crée pour tous les fans et en hommage à l’être exceptionnel que fut Jim Morrison, votre signature est la bienvenue.

Et si Les Doors continuent de menacer le Lezard King nous vous invitons à boycotter le concert de Manzarek/Krieger le 3 juillet prochain au Bataclan à Paris ainsi que les autres concerts de leur tournée.
